The human behind
the data
I'm Eric Esley, a data analyst with over 5 years of experience turning chaotic datasets into clear decisions. I work primarily with Python, SQL and visualization tools, building pipelines and dashboards that people actually understand and use.
I started in finance, moved into tech, and never looked back. I've worked at startups and mid-sized companies, always at the intersection of data and the people who need to understand it.
I created this space because I got tired of reading technical articles full of hype and no substance. Here I write about what I actually use at work — no courses to sell, no clickbait titles, no empty trends.
If something is useful to you, great. If not, that's fine too. The goal is to think out loud about technology with criteria and context.
